Updates and Nyamachi’s Translation Goals – October 2020
Hello readers <3
I can’t believe September is almost over! I hope everyone had a great month and that everyone in school is getting into the swing of things and not buried under readings like me ^^;
I’m making this update a bit early because…
I had a doctor’s appointment today and they said that I have tendonitis. That means I need to rest my wrists and not use the computer much (impossible with online school…-_-) or at least reduce my time typing = reduce my time translating. My wrist strain from July has come back. It’s not as bad as it was then but it’s getting worse. It got better before, and I expect it to again, but I’m going to put more effort into resting it this time. I’ll be buying a better brace, icing more, and I’m looking into speech-to-text software so that I can rest my wrists fully this time around. Hopefully, once this is set up I’ll be back to translating – a new way~
Thank you again for your kind donations. I’m very grateful. The ergonomic pads have been helping reduce the pain a lot!
Naturally, this means WHI 43 will be delayed for now. I’m sorry 🙁 I’m about 2/3rds finished translating it. Happy nonetheless to have finished 2 out of 3 TL goals for September! ^ ^
For October, my translation goals are:
- WHI 43 before Oct 31st (likely using speech-to-text software to complete) – Released!
- Maybe WHI 44 if I can get all the tech stuff sorted. (Tentative as I am not tech-y. Luckily I know JimmyfromIT!)
Hope everyone stays safe and warm as the weather gets colder! <3

Just sending out prayers for your full recovery. Take care and don’t overdo your limits. Think of the long term and here’s wishing you all the best for your studies.
Thank you, Solitaire. <3
Take care of your wrists and we’ll stay tuned for more delightful WHI when you can type injury-free 😁
Thanks Y. E. I feel a bit like a dino with stubby arms right now (one brace for each wrist) lol. I’m grateful for your patience!
