Wrist Strain (?)

Hello readers!

I seem to have strained or sprained my wrist (?!) OTL

How, you ask? Possibly from overuse or clumsiness. I don’t know how soon it’ll get better since I have three big deadlines in the next few days, which all require typing/computer use, so I won’t be able to rest it as much as I should > . <

Has this happened to anyone before? Any tips for a speedy recovery? A friend recommended ice and rest. If I don’t rest it, will it get worse? @_@

Progress update: I’m about 3/4 of the way done the next chapter for WHI and ~90% done Part 2 of Held in the Lonely Castle (Lots of palace jargon to sift through).

  • Rest your wrist as much as you can. Use an icepack as prescribed by your doctor / theraphist. Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself.

  • Best would be an ergonomic keyboard, they take getting used to but it’s worth it.

    Otherwise be sure to use a wrist lift pad for your keyboard & mouse.

    • Sorry for the late reply Y.E. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check out the ergonomic keyboard and how to prevent carpal tunnel. I have a wrist lift pad for my mouse atm.
